When the Hair Loss began about 3 weeks after my first dose of chemo was. Once it started, it had been merely a matter of days before I had the total "cue-ball" look going. I'd been advised that this might occur before I believed I had been prepared and started treament. I had floppy hats, football caps, wigs, and hair bandanas prepared and organized. But nothing really can prepare you for your stress of achieving as much as clean your hair along with a large heap happens... Or waking up and obtaining wads of hair throughout your bed and cushion... or having your partner or child manage their hands through your hair plus they end up getting sections of hair within their palm. For me personally it had been far more disturbing that I'd predicted.
