Impetigo is a superficial skin infection that occurs most often in children, especially those living in hot and humid climates, under conditions of poor hygiene and overcrowding.
SilqueSkin Clinically, there are two recognized forms of impetigo, blisters and nebulous (contagious impetigo). Bulbous impetigo is invariably caused by Staphylococcus aurous, while the non-bulbous type is caused by Staphylococcus aurous, Streptococcus group A (Streptococcus progenies), or both.
