If you have a registered dmaion website it would be a good move to create a blog on one of the blog platforms like Blogger.com which is a traffic magnet. The name and URL should have Chicago in them and clearly point to catering in the Chicago area. The best way to connect and define your traffic is to mention things in your blog posts that are clearly about Chicago while advertising your business. It would be a great boost to give away cooking tips or something else to benefit readers and show your catering menu items in photos. Also take pictures of Chicago and tie it all into food and catering. Ask your Chicago visitors about their favorite foods, event experiences linked to catering, etc.Anything you do on the Internet will be global. But you can easily limit the interest on the blog you create by keeping the topic about Chicago and your business. You can link the blog to your website.Look at it this way, there may be some homesick Chicagoans out there in other States or countries who would enjoy your posts from home, maybe even recommend you to friends and associates back home. Everything has an angle that can be useful. But a blog is a great asset. One more thing you can do is get a Twitter account. Chicagoans will find you in a hurry. I'm originally from Chicago and still miss it. |

Just wanted to let sonomee know that we went in to Boychiks today to take advantage of the 1/2 off 2nd breakfast offer. We enjoyed our breakfast but were a little confused because we did not see the ILikeToSave sign on the door like the other restaurants that we've frequented, so we were not sure if they would honor the offer or not. I did bring this to the cashiers attention and they seemed surprised about the sign missing from the door and did in fact honor the discount. http://hryhjfh.com qcitiobcdz [link=http://ssxyctfxfl.com]ssxyctfxfl[/link] |

Gail Phillips-Waite Jul 25, 2012 - Just a comment on epsiode 165 where you talked about hospital records and employees looking at them . that is part of what the HIPAA laws cover. You were correct that in Calif there was a big lawsuit involving celebrities' hospital records that were being leaked to the press by employees selling the information. If an employee views or even accesses a patient's records that he/she has no authority to access.. that employee can be fired and fined and the hospital can be fined. Every employee has agreed to abide by those federal, state, local and hospital or facility specific rules regarding patient privacy. I would imagine that banks and financial institutions have something similar.. rules or codes involving client information. This was the first time I have seen your show and I enjoyed the heck out of it! Thanks |
