| I think it was partly beucase it was the first, and partly beucase 1936-1937 was a time of good / interesting films, rather than outstanding films. A lot of films were recognised during that period that probably wouldn't have been in, say, 1939-1940 when Dr Ehrlich got lost in the crush.Yes, midwives were much cleaner than doctors. Reading around this, there was the point made that 19th century doctors took pride in their disgustingly stained white coats as a sign of how hard they worked. They went from patient to patient, just wiping their hands down their fronts in between These days the battle centres on trying on convince doctors not to wear ties that ties tend to dangle where you don't really want things dangling. That, and The Great Green Ink War. Sigh. |

| Hi Brownie, it does sound like you might be suffering from CFS. Unfortunately many dooctrs still don't acknowledge that this is a very real illness I've experienced the same thing until I found a specialist.
